If you have a closet/drawer/storage bin full of t-shirts you have been saving to make a quilt, now is your chance! Over 4 class sessions, we will turn your t-shirts into a quilt full of memories. As long as you understand the words “quarter inch seam,” “binding” and “quilt sandwich” you are ready for this class. While you will finish class with a quilt made from 9-12 t-shirts, you should bring all the possibilities to the first class. There may be some homework. Interfacing is included in the price of class; additional supplies will need to be purchased after first class.
You should launder your t-shirts without fabric softener or dryer sheets, but do not cut them or try to prepare them in any other way before attending the first class!!!
You may bring as many t-shirts as you like to audition for your quilt, but you may not use more than 12 t-shirts in your final quilt, or make it two sided, there is not enough class time or supplies for more than 12 t-shirts.
