Intro to Stabilizers (Machine Embroidery)
In this fun and informative class, we will explore stabilizers. You will get samples of every type of stabilizer offered by DIME and use the samples of cutaway, tearaway, peel N stick, water soluble topper, and wash away to make four simple projects. We will explain the differences between the types of stabilizer, and explain what products from other companies are comparable, to help you figure out which stabilizers can be substituted. You will leave class with a sample book of different stabilizers and several types of written materials to help you remember what you learned. In addition, you will have lots of samples left over to play with at home AND a sample book of all the different stabilizers available!
You will bring your embroidery machine, a 5 x 7 hoop, and thread. We will provide all the fabric, stabilizer samples, an embroiderers compass and lots of information!

Participants must bring their embroidery machine, a 5 x 7 hoop, and thread. You will receive an email before the first class with details about thread colors needed for class.
