Forest Friends

You choose how big to make your forest in this fun class. Some homework will be required; how much depends on how big you make your quilt. Each week you will learn to make one block in the quilt (there are 3 trees and 3 animals), make as many as you can in class and go home to finish each type of block. The last week will be used to assemble all of your completed blocks into your final quilt top!

While it is optional, you are strongly encouraged to bring a Corner Pop ruler. Martha will teach you how to adjust your cutting directions to Tuckerize your pattern. The Corner Pop is the only ruler needed to Tuckerize this pattern.

If you enjoy piecing this top, Elizabeth Hartman (the pattern designer) has dozens of patterns, and they are all written in the same style. You will be more than ready to tackle another of her patterns after completing this class.
