Quilted SNEAKERS!
When you register for this class, you MUST order your sneaker kit from Fabriculous (link here). Please note the price is in Canadian Dollars (this is a Canadian Quilt Shop). You may not use any kit or supplies from any other source.
You must place your order at least 3 weeks prior to the beginning of class to guarantee you will have your kit in time for class. In this class, we will construct quilted sneakers from start to finish. You can choose low top, midrise or high top style sneakers. Fabric requirements vary among sizes and styles (low, midrise or high top), and will be specified in the pattern you receive with your soles.
Included in the cost of this class are the following supplies: stabilizer, eyelets, and use of our special equipment for setting the eyelets. NOT included are the soles, insoles, pattern, waxed thread and specialty needle needed to construct the shoes. Those are included in the kit you must order from Fabriculous. Please do not wait to place your order, she sources the soles and insoles from Europe.
You will need to purchase fabric prior to the first class according to the pattern in the kit you order from Fabriculous! The measurements are given in meters, we are happy to help you convert to yards when you purchase fabric with us.
