Machine Embroidery Demo Day

At this demo we will introduce machine embroiderers to the world of OESD embroidery software! 

We have created a haunted village using our embroidery machines, and want to show you how to do the same. During the presentation, we will explain what stabilizers you need to be successful with free-standing products, explain the difference between free-standing lace and free-standing applique, and introduce OESD software and how to purchase it. Then Meghann will hoop up the stabilizers and walk you through the stitch-out steps while creating pieces of the new haunted bridge on her embroidery machine.

After the demo, you will be able to shop all the products you need to create your own haunted house, including the software. You will also be able to register for a free finishing day class at the demo. You will then go home and stitch out the pieces for your house. If you have problems along the way, you will stop in the shop, call or email Meghann. Your deadline is the date of your free finishing day, at which point you will bring all of your stitched out pieces back to the shop, where Meghann will show you how to build your pieces into a house! 

To be clear, this is a machine embroidery class where you do not need to bring your machine. You must be familiar enough with your machine to go home and stitch the pieces out. You will need to be able to open the software and run the steps and color changes on your own. You do NOT have to be a Janome embroidery machine owner to participate, but we will not be able to answer questions beyond hooping and stabilizers if you are not a Janome owner. 

Finally, your $25 fee for this class will be credited toward an OESD haunted village software purchase ONLY ON THE DAY OF THE DEMO.
