Barbie Quilt!

This quilt surely has something to teach you! It uses traditional piecing techniques, AND has applique and foundation paper pieced blocks as well! You will complete the quilt top in class, but there may be some homework required. You don't have to know how to applique or foundation paper piece to take this class, but you should have completed a few basic quilted projects AND Intro to Quilting before signing up; it's not necessarily a beginner project.

All fabric and patterns are included, but participants MUST supply an add-a-quarter ruler and the Square Squared ruler set from Studio 180 designs (all are available in the shop). Cotton thread is included, but if you prefer specialty applique threads, you must supply those. Our sample does include specialty threads. Batting, backing, and binding are not included; quilting and binding will be on your own after class ends. All participants receive 20% off longarming in the shop on this quilt.

All classes have access to our sewing stations stocked with all necessary basic supplies, including a Janome Skyline S6 machine. Participants do not need to bring any basic equipment, and any extra equipment that might be needed will be listed in the class description.

Skill Level:	Beginner
Skill Details:	Participants MUST have taken Intro to Quilting and have made several quilted projects before undertaking this quilt. You can be new to applique and foundation paper piecing.
