How to make a quilt label (MACHINE EMBROIDERY)

In this new class, we will use the built-in features of your embroidery machine to make 2 quilt labels. The first label will begin with a pre-printed label that you embellish. The second label will be created from scratch using only your machine!

Janome embroidery machine owners can be beginners who are learning to use their machines. We will discuss how to access and edit the built-in fonts on your machine, how to use the grids that come with your hoops, and how to hoop a pre-made product so your stitching will line up in the correct spot.

Non-Janome embroidery machine owners must know how to access and manipulate the built-in fonts on their machine. In addition, you must be familiar with lining up pre-made products in your hoops using the grids or positioning systems that came with your machine.

All participants must bring their machines, medium tearaway stabilizer, a 5 x 7 hoop, the positioning grid for the hoop, bobbins and thread in the following colors: turquoise, medium or dark purple, grassy green, black and the color or colors you would like to use to make your own label from scratch.
