Succulent Garden
In this class, you will learn to construct the Succulent Garden quilt top. You will also learn to construct hexagons from strip sets and the pattern's ingenious method to sew the top together without using Y-seams. You are welcome to bring your own fabric from home, but we will be spending time the first night discussing the best way to select your fabric for this quilt, as fabric selection is quite a challenge on this project. Please bring any fabric you are considering to the first class. The shop will be open during class time for you to add to your project or get started; you do not have to bring fabric to the first class if you just want to shop here.
Enough time is built into class to construct a lap size quilt. You may make a larger quilt, but you will not finish it in the time allotted without working at home between classes.

Requirements:
You will need the Succulent Garden pattern and template for this class. Both are available in the shop.
You will need to provide or purchase fabric for the Succulent Garden quilt top. Yardage requirements are not exact, but the quilt requires approximately 3 1/2 yards for baby quilt; 5 1/2 for lap; 9 1/2 for queen and 13 1/2 for king size quilt top.
